House Shaped Book Rest

Hate having to put down a good book? So does the book! Imagine having a page folded down or a piece of scrap paper shoved in you! Then you're shut and forgotten. Or worse: placed in some uncomfortable back breaking splits for who knows how long...

Treat your book and yourself to something better. This house shaped book rest is a nice place for your book to wait and for you to look at.

Use it two ways: either as a book stand with the book on top and things inside (reading glasses, chocolates, whatever). Or as a book shelf, or combined book ends - because sometimes our inner hoarder gets ahead of our inner reader.

How is it made? The shape is laser cut out of 1mm steel, bent using a metal brake and then powder coated. Then the cork liner and EVA foam base are added. The laser cutting and powder coating we send out to others, everything else we do in house.

Being made of metal it is nicely heavy and properly sturdy. The foam base and cork liner make it easy to live with - nothing gets scratched.
